I recently shared my expert knowledge as a London tour guide with Michael McLaren on the Australian radio station 2GB Sydney.

We started with the London experience – getting into the city. From Heathrow Airport visitors can choose the fast Heathrow Express, the budget Tube or a private transfer for maximum convenience. Once in the city we walked the well trodden paths of Westminster, home to Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.
But London isn’t just about the skyline; it’s a treasure trove of culture and history. The city’s free museums, the British Museum and the National Gallery, offer a glimpse into global art and artefacts. We also talked about the City of London, the historic Roman heart that has become a global financial centre and Greenwich, a pretty spot to stand on the Prime Meridian after a river cruise.

For those who like to indulge we talked about London’s luxurious high tea at famous hotels like The Ritz and Claridge’s. And of course, no visit is complete without wandering into the charming alleys to find hidden pubs serving hearty food.
