If you want to see as much as possible in a single day, our Tower of London and Westminster Abbey Walking Tour is the one to go for. It runs for eight hours and covers Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guard (when scheduled), Big Ben, and the Tower of London, including the Crown Jewels.
If a full day feels like too much for your group, our four hour Westminster Abbey tour or the London Highlights Walking Tour both pack in the major landmarks in a half day, leaving your afternoon free.
The price covers your private Blue Badge Guide for the full duration of the tour. For any tour that includes a ticketed attraction (the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral), entrance fees are included and pre-booked in advance. That means no queuing at ticket windows and no surprise costs on the day.
The price is per group, not per person. A family of four on the Tower of London tour works out at under £120 each, including entrance, expert guiding, and pre-booked tickets.
Every tour is private, so your guide can adjust the pace, the focus, and the route to suit you. If someone in your group has a particular interest (say, Tudor history at the Tower, or a favourite painting at the National Gallery), your guide will spend longer there. If you are travelling with young children, they will keep things moving and build in breaks where needed.
We have guided families with toddlers, multi-generational groups including grandparents in their eighties, and visitors with accessibility requirements. If you have specific needs, mention them when you book and we will make sure everything is planned around you.
Most tours accommodate groups of up to 10 people, with some (including Westminster Abbey and the Churchill War Rooms) capped at 8 to protect the quality of the experience inside the venue.
Group sizes are shown on each tour listing. The price remains the same whether you bring two people or ten, so larger groups get better per-person value.
We can help with that. Our Custom Tour option lets you build an itinerary around exactly what your group wants to see, whether that is combining elements from different tours or visiting something completely off our standard list.
Get in touch with your ideas and we will put together a plan that works for your dates, your interests, and your budget.
All of our tours are walking tours, so a reasonable level of mobility is needed. Most half day tours cover between two and four miles at a gentle pace, with regular stops along the way. Full day tours cover more ground but include a lunch break and plenty of pauses inside attractions.
If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, let us know when you book. Our guides are experienced at adjusting routes to reduce walking distances, and many of the attractions we visit have step free access.
Meeting points vary by tour and are confirmed when you book. Most tours start near the first attraction (for example, the Westminster Abbey tour meets at the Abbey Shop on Broad Sanctuary). By prior arrangement, your guide can also meet you at your central London hotel.
Your guide will be holding a sign with your name. We also send meeting point details, including photos and directions, before your tour date so there is no confusion on the day.
